The Green Home Program is a FREE program for residents of West Bolton to learn how to save money, improve home comfort, and help the environment by reducing home energy and water use and by implementing eco-landscaping.

The Green Home Program provides West Bolton SNAP residents with access to:
- One-on-one consultations (in-person or virtual/phone) with a TRCA staff member OR a self-guided home survey to identify homeowner interests, potential home and property retrofits, and applicable rebates or incentives, as well as resources such as Centre for Community Energy Transformation‘s new Energy Coaching Service
- Opportunities to get connected with and learn from your neighbours about their home retrofit journeys
- Expert-led in-person workshops to support homeowners in implementation of home retrofits
- Customized how-to home retrofit and eco-landscaping resources
- FREE exclusive incentives and giveaways

Do You Live in the
West Bolton SNAP Neighbourhood?
The Green Home Program is currently ONLY available for residents in the West Bolton SNAP area (see map below).
If your household is located outside this neighbourhood and you are interested in completing home or landscape upgrades on your property, you can participate in the upcoming free in-person workshops offered as part of the program (see below).
However, home consultations and program-specific incentives are only available to homes located within the West Bolton SNAP area.

The Green Home Program provides incentives to West Bolton SNAP residents to help get you started on your own green home projects.
West Bolton SNAP residents who sign up and complete a one-on-one consultation or self-guided home survey by October 30, 2024 will receive one FREE Incentive of their choice*.
Exclusive incentives include:
- Evolve or Viva Earth Refillery gift card
- Pollinator kit and seed balls
- Fruit or shade tree
- Albion Hills Community Farm produce box
- DIY home energy savings kit and air sealing kit
- Rain barrel
* Incentives are available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Each incentive will have a $65 to $100 value.
NOTE: An additional prize raffle will also be held for past and current Green Home Program participants who complete a one-on-one consultation or self-guided home survey by October 30, 2024.
