The Green Home Program was designed to promote the uptake of home retrofits that would have the greatest impact in addressing key West Bolton SNAP neighbourhood environmental challenges.
Through home consultations, incentives, workshops, and curated resources, the program supported homeowners in implementing energy, water, and eco-landscaping retrofits, as demonstrated in the Green Home Makeover.
The Green Home Program ran for six years, from 2018 to 2024.
Program Results
The following provides a high-level summary of program metrics:
- 105 home consultations completed
- 571 home retrofits
- 23 workshops
- 78% of participants were very satisfied with the program
