Albion Hills: A Year-round Destination for Adventure
Did you know that Albion Hills Conservation Park in Caledon is open all year-round?*
On almost any day of the year (excluding Christmas and Boxing Day) you can hike, bike, and explore Albion’s outstanding system of trails.

Take a Hike at Kortright
Kortright Centre for Conservation in Woodbridge is one of the GTA’s best spots for winter hiking and bird watching.
Enjoy more than 16 kilometres of breathtaking hiking trails year-round. Explore forests and meadows, follow the boardwalk through the marsh, and keep watch for wildlife!

Journey to Winters Past at Black Creek
Turn back time and experience a winter’s day in a rural Ontario village of the 1860s.
There are three great ways to experience all that the Village has to offer in December:
- Weekday Guided Village Tours: Enjoy a series of 50-minute themed guided tours for a deep dive into the 1800s, then explore the Village gardens and heritage buildings at your own pace.
- Weekend Self-Guided Experience: Explore the heritage Village and buildings at your own pace. Encounter costumed educators at Discovery Stations throughout the Village.
- Christmas at the Village: Jingle all the way to the Village for festive fun! Your choice of daytime and evening programs
Outdoor Winter Camps
Give your kids an adventure to remember this winter break!
TRCA’s winter camps at Claireville Conservation Area in Brampton and Claremont Nature Centre in Pickering offer fun-filled days in the great outdoors. Youngsters will look for winter animal tracks, make nature crafts, build shelters and forts, and more!
