Discover the joys of winter at TRCA’s Albion Hills Conservation Park. Albion Hills features fantastic trails for cross-country skiing and winter fat-biking, providing a great opportunity to stay active and healthy during the colder months while enjoying the breathtakingly beautiful outdoors.

Cross-country ski rentals are available for those who don’t have their own equipment.

TRCA offers a number of fun programs for the whole family to learn more about our region’s wonderful winter wildlife. Daytime events include Wildlife Tracking (February 3), Snowshoes and Snow-Clues (February 3 and February 17), and Birding by Snowshoe (February 24).

TRCA’s Black Creek Pioneer Village invites you to visit this Family Day weekend (February 17 and 18) to discover the magic of winters past.

The Snowy Days at the Village event offers the opportunity to explore winter travel and sports, investigate age-old methods of staying warm and snug, and learn new skills, including winter survival, candle-making, and food preservation.

Our Little Saplings Parent & Tot Program gives parents and young children the chance to enjoy nature together this winter. Outdoor activities include crafts, stories, sensory games, and other engaging age-appropriate experiences.

This program is for children ages 1-5 and their parents or caregivers. Choose from two great locations: Kortright Centre for Conservation or Claireville Conservation Area.
