Go Green

Students learn that conservation, sustainablilty and stewardship are key components in maintaining a healthy environment. Activities throughout the program teach the studetns how to Go Green.

Students will learn that there are degrees of “being Green” depending on your choices, habits and behaviours. Activities and discussions focus on actions that can be done at home and in the community to lessen students’ impact on the environment and be more sustainable.

Preparation:
Programs always have an outdoor component. Groups should dress for the conditions on the day of their visit. Before your visit, please discuss the importance of dressing appropriately for outdoor activities. On days of inclement weather the program will be modified to include some indoor activities along with the outdoor components.

Half day, available all year.
