Participants will have the opportunity to experience Albion Hills Field Centre under the cover of darkness while on a guided hike. They will use their senses to the best of their abilities and develop an appreciation for the specialization of the nocturnal world.
With consideration given to theme, weather and time, possible activities may include owl and coyote calling, solo walks, chalk sketching, colour vision testing, astronomy investigations, evening games, sound/smell recognition and/or storytelling.
It is the goal of this program to help relieve fears that may be associated with the darkness through the experience of a variety of safe after-dark activities.
Preparation:
Suitable outdoor clothing and footwear.
