This hands-on program allows students to eximine living organisms along the trails to identify characteristics used for classification.

In this program students will gain an understanding of classification systems through activities and the examination of specimens, study skins and skeletal sections. Students will study and observe organisms in a variety of natural habitats. The full day option allows for a more in-depth investigation of each habitat.

Preparation:
Programs always have an outdoor component. Groups should dress for the conditions on the day of their visit. Before your visit, please discuss the importance of dressing appropriately for outdoor activities. On days of inclement weather the program will be modified to include some indoor activities along with the outdoor components.
