Must be 18 years or older. 2. Must be enrolled in a post-secondary institution located within TRCA's jurisdiction. 3. Must be able to commit to a two-year term. 4. Must be able to attend four meetings per year, hosted during working hours (Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.), one of which is in person. Additional Expectations: 1. Be viewed and conduct oneself as a responsible citizen. 2. Declare any conflicts of interest. 3. Every year PPG hosts many events. The attendance of EMC Members, especially at signature events, is critically important not just for PPG but for the member companies that our EMC represents. 4. Assist with efforts to help PPG grow. For example, identify and conduct outreach to potential new members. 5. PPG EMC members will contribute their expertise as in-kind services. Compensation for reasonable transportation within TRCA jurisdiction, will be provided for attendance at in-person meetings according to TRCA policy where these are not covered by their agency or other source. The current rate is $0.61 per kilometre travelled to and from a meeting, for up to 4,000 kilometres per calendar year, in accordance with the Canada Revenue Agency rates. Any travel from outside TRCA’s jurisdiction will require prior approval from staff to ensure it is aligned within PPG budget and TRCA policies.
