Working in a cooperative team setting, students will learn and practice basic survival techniques in the outdoors.
Each team will be challenged to construct a small cooking fire and/or shelter from natural materials.
Key elements of this lesson stress a “no trace” camping philosophy, as well as the safety aspects of preparation and planning for a successful outdoor experience.
