TRCA Parks are Open
Celebrate life’s special moments at one of TRCA’s Conservation Parks!
Our beautiful natural spaces offer the perfect backdrop for picnics and other gatherings, with sites offering shelter, water, and/or hydro.
TRCA Spring Bird Festival
Celebrate spring migration with fellow bird enthusiasts at the annual TRCA Spring Bird Festival.
This free, public event raises awareness of and celebrates the phenomenon of spring bird migration. Activities are available for all ages and birding interests.

Disc Golf at Albion Hills
Celebrate the grand opening of two new disc golf courses at Albion Hills Conservation Park: a 9-hole beginner-friendly course and an 18-hole pro-level course for experienced players.
TRCA will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially inaugurate the new courses:

TRCA camps allow kids to explore all that nature has to offer, at great locations across the GTA. Led by expert instructors, youngsters enjoy hands-on experiences, workshops, hikes, animal tracking, and more.

TRCA Youth Council TurtleFest
Learn all about Ontario’s native freshwater turtles at TurtleFest 2024, a free, family-friendly event co-hosted by the TRCA Youth Council and the Canadian Wildlife Federation (Canadian Conservation Corps).
Participants can meet-and-greet with live turtles, take tours, view educational presentations, and enjoy storytelling with drumming led by Four Colours Drum Circle.

Community Cleanup
Join TRCA and the Oak Ridges Lions Club to help remove winter debris from neighbourhoods, parks, and greenspaces.
Bring family and friends along for this rewarding volunteer opportunity. Garbage bags, recycling bags, and gloves will be provided.

Mindfulness Walk
Time spent in nature can do wonders for your health and sense of well-being. Join TRCA for this free, guided walk and experience all the sights, sounds, and benefits of nature.

Once Upon a Time
TRCA’s Black Creek Pioneer Village transforms itself into a wondrous fantasyland for a weekend of fairy-tale fun. Step into a storybook realm where tales of magic and mystery come to life!

The Nature School Open House
TRCA’s The Nature School is hosting open house events at its Kortright Centre for Conservation and Claireville Conservation Area locations. It’s a great opportunity for families to come and discover what this unique outdoor education experience is all about. Meet the staff, enjoy some outdoor activities, and more. Everyone is welcome!
