Overnight Education Centres: Booking Information and Conditions

Basic Package:

The cost of your visit includes accommodations, meals, programs led by Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) education staff, and the use of equipment related to your programming.

Payment:

For trips that take place between September 1 and November 30, a $500.00 deposit is due five weeks before the trip.

For trips that take place between December 1 and June 30, a $500.00 deposit is due 12 weeks before the trip.

Cheques are payable to TRCA: 5 Shoreham Drive, Toronto, ON M3N 1S4. Visa and Mastercard payments are accepted by phone, referencing the reservation ID, at (416) 661-6600.

Please note: This booking will not be confirmed until a deposit is received. Your school will be invoiced after your visit based on the number of students who attend, with the minimum charge based on 20 participants.

Cancellation Policy:

There is no penalty if notification is received more than 12 weeks before your visit for December to June trips, or more than five weeks prior to September to November trips. Your deposit will be forfeited if you notify us of your cancellation less than five weeks or 12 weeks prior to your visit date, as applicable. The full fee will be charged if you notify us of your cancellation seven business days or fewer prior to your scheduled visit date.

If a strike, work-to-rule, or public health emergency is in place and inhibits the participants to attend on a scheduled visit, every attempt will be made to re-schedule within the current school year. Should that not be possible, we will refund, in full, any monies that have been paid to us.
