Toronto and Region Conservation offers weekend programming throughout the year at each of its three field centres: Albion Hills, Claremont and Lake St. George.
Field centre programs have been designed to provide your group with interesting, educational and fun outdoor experiences. Many of these programs have been adapted to meet the needs of Girl Guides, Brownies and Scouting groups.
What You Need to Know
Whether yours is a Girl Guides or Scouts group, a science camp, sports team or adult retreat group, we have what it takes to make your weekend engaging and entertaining.
We take care of everything including food, programs and team building with our professional staff team. Get your group outside and explore the field centres.
TRCA residential visits are offered Friday evening to Sunday afternoon all year round.
Accommodations and Equipment
TRCA field centres provide accommodations, food and all of the necessary basic equipment for the programs. Participants will need to bring appropriate clothing, bedding and personal items.
What to Expect
TRCA staff are available to lead morning, afternoon and evening programs each full day at the field centre. Programs are professionally designed to maximize hands-on, outdoor learning, and offer a safe learning environment for our visitors.
Many programs can be adapted to meet specific badge requirements for the Guiding and Scouting organizations, and take into consideration the various ages and abilities of our guests.
Adult Leader Participation
Co-ed groups require supervision by both male and female adult leaders while in residence at the centres. Leaders are expected to accompany participants during the programs to assist in the supervision and organization of the programs.
