Students are introduced to the basics of map reading and making.
Learners are equipped with all of the necessary supplies to create a map and hide a treasure. Paces and bearings are used to develop a route and clues are left to the location of the treasure.
Maps and clues are traded and each group is challenged to search for another’s treasure.
