A slideshow introduces participants to the history and influence of the St. George family — in particular Henri Quetton de St. George, the first resident of the property, and the person for whom the site is named. The histories of others who once resided here, such as the Davies and Snively families, are also discussed.

Participants will learn of the purchase of the property by Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) and the subsequent opening of the Lake St. George Field Centre in 1979.

The program then leads into an outdoor storytelling hike describing the “strange happenings” that have taken place around the property over the years.
