Program Levels:
Course Types:
Walk the Innovation Trail at Kortright Centre to learn about renewable energy technologies, including biomass, solar thermal, photovoltaic (PV) and wind.
Kortright’s unique renewable energy demonstrations provide students with an excellent opportunity to see and understand renewable energy technologies firsthand. The various sites along the trail show how these technologies can be applied in practical everyday situations.
Preparation:
Programs always have an outdoor component. Groups should dress for the conditions on the day of their visit. Before your visit, please discuss the importance of dressing appropriately for outdoor activities. On days of inclement weather the program will be modified to include some indoor activities along with the outdoor components. The energy trail is primarily an open trail with very little shade. Please wear a hat and sunscreen.
