Program Levels:

Day Visit, Overnight

The session begins with a question and answer period that helps to debunk myths surrounding bats. A video presentation introduces some of the world’s interesting bat species, and highlights the importance of bats and threats to their survival, while an active game simulates how bats navigate and find food by echolocation.

Specific information will be provided regarding the natural history of common Ontario bats.

The program will end with an exciting evening walk to see Little Brown Bats.

Preparation:
Appropriate clothing and footwear for weather conditions
