Encounter bats after dark, play spooky games, and hear spine-tingling ghost stories in immersive outdoor adventures.

All About Bats (October 30)

Looking for a Halloween experience that’s a little different? Join TRCA for an evening exploring the fascinating world of bats and their role in local communities.

The program begins with an indoor presentation on the variety of bat species in Toronto, followed by an outdoor activity in which attendees act as community scientists, observing bats in their natural habitat and listening with a special bat detector.

While stopping in the sleepy village of Black Creek for a night’s rest, travelers find themselves trapped as an ancient evil awakens. The village is doomed – unless the curse can be lifted.

In this immersive escape game, participants must work together to save the cursed villagers, uncover the great incantation, and stop the evil from rising before the final bell tolls.

Guided only by their wits and a lantern, teams must decide if they have what it takes to venture where dark things dwell.
