Forest Finds: Salamander Monitoring

The health of a forest can be measured by more than just the size of its tree canopy. Members of Toronto and Region Conservation’s Environmental Monitoring team go deep into the woods each spring in search of salamanders – nature’s tiny barometers of a forest’s well being.
