Is food included in the Lake St. George summer 2026 camp fee?

Hot lunch service is included with registration for our Specialty Camps, Overnight Camps (including one-night overnight experiences, such as Backcountry Canoe Adventure), and Nature Camp at Davies Hall.

Hot lunch is not included for campers registered for Nature Camp at Bond House.

All campers need to bring their own nut-free snacks and a reusable water bottle.

What ages can register for summer 2026 camps at Lake St. George?

We offer camps for ages 4 to 14.

What COVID policies and procedures are in place for summer camps?

Facilities and high-touch areas are cleaned on a daily basis. Campers and staff who are sick are asked to stay home.

What should I do if my child(ren)’s age group is sold out?

If your child’s age group is sold out we ask that you sign up for our waiting list.

What is your cancellation policy for camps?

Cancellation requests received by Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) more than 30 days before the start of the camp program will receive a 75% refund of the relevant program fees paid. Cancellation requests received by TRCA less than 30 days before the start of the camp program do not qualify for a refund. Please contact us in cases of sickness prior to the program so we can be in touch about rescheduling or refunding. Rescheduling is subject to availability. There is no refund for camp days missed or children opting not to participate in activities. Cancellation requests must be received in writing by email to vservices@trca.ca. Minimum registration numbers are required for camp to operate. In the event TRCA must cancel the camp due to low registration or government order, a full refund will be issued.

What happens if my child misses a day of camp?

There is no refund for camp days missed or children opting not to participate in activities.

How can I prepare my child(ren) for camp at Lake St. George Field Centre?

Campers should be fully able to use the washroom on their own, wash their hands, and open all of their own lunch/snack containers.

Campers should be prepared to be outside in most weather conditions and be ready to actively participate.

Is summer camp at Lake St. George indoors, outdoors, or both?

We are an outdoor camp, but we do have an air-conditioned indoor facility for handwashing, washrooms, and in case of inclement weather.

Are Lake St. George Field Centre camp facilities nut-free?

We are a nut-aware facility. Campers and staff are asked not to bring any nut products to camp.

When do I need to complete camper documents and medical information?

All camp documents should be completed upon booking to ensure that we have all relevant information about your camper.

Dietary restrictions, allergies, medical information, and authorized pick-up and drop-off persons may be provided to counsellors, kitchen staff, and senior camp staff.

Do I need any specialized equipment for my child(ren)?

No.
