Albion Hills Field Centre has been delivering education and recreation programs for nearly 60 years, teaching children from the Greater Toronto Area about nature, adventure, leadership, and teamwork.

Our staff are experienced in making the outdoors a safe and welcoming space for every child who comes through our doors.

Every day, all year round, Albion Hills Field Centre welcomes children who are sleeping away from home for the first time, or trying a new outdoor activity, and taking the first steps towards transforming into the person they will become.

Albion Hills’ small-scale day or overnight adventure camps allow for individual attention from our experienced camp counselors and outdoor education specialists.

Camp Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.*
Extended Care: Extended care is available from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Camp Fees:** Age 4: $290.00/week ($230.00/four-day week)
Ages 5 and up: $280.00/week ($220.00/four-day week)*
Special Activity Camps (with Lunch): $450.00/week
Extended Care Fees: $85.00/week ($68.00/four-day week)

June 29-July 3, 2026: AMAZING ANIMALS* – Day Camp

Campers will learn about animals through forest exploration, games, and activities. Get your camper ready to embrace their animal instincts as they look for signs of animals, and learn about animal adaptations! Campers will cool off at Lakeview Splash Pad throughout the week.

July 5-10, 2026: ADVENTURE AWAY – Overnight Camp

For the overnight camper who loves to explore nature and try new things, this is an eclectic overnight camp experience with lots of time outside.

Campers will soak up the sunny days on the forest and trails of the beautiful Albion Hills Conservation Park. Trail biking, swimming in the pool, catching crayfish in the creek, and just being a kid are all part of this fun, friendly camp.

Arrival Sunday, July 5 after 3:00 p.m. and pick up Friday, July 10 by 4:00 p.m.

July 6-10, 2026: NATURE HEROES – Day Camp

After coming up with their hero alias and special power, campers explore how nature influences superheroes, discover the real life superpowers of different plants and animals, and learn ways they can help save the planet! Campers will cool off at Lakeview Splash Pad during the week.

July 13-17, 2026: INTRO TO OVERNIGHTS – Day/Overnight Camp

Take your first steps into the world of overnight camps! Designed for the camper curious about overnight camps, this camp offers a fun, supportive environment where you’ll explore the forest, build community, and gain the confidence to enjoy a memorable overnight experience by the end of the week.

Spending your days exploring the stream, playing traditional camp games and swimming in the pool on hot days or cozying up by the fire on cool nights, this camp is packed with fun and adventure!

Monday and Tuesday are regular day camp days (9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.); Wednesday drop-off is 9:00 a.m.; campers sleep over until pick-up on Fri at 4:00 p.m.

July 13-17, 2026: WILDERNESS SURVIVAL – Day Camp

Learn the skills needed to survive the wilderness! Campers will build a shelter from materials found in the forest, try orienteering, learn how to safely make a fire, and enjoy cedar tea. Campers will cool off at Lakeview Splash Pad during the week.

Step up, team up, and lead the way. Through hands-on challenges, team games, and creative problem-solving, campers learn how to communicate, cooperate, and take initiative.

By the end of the week they plan and lead an activity for younger campers, turning skills into real experience. Campers will cool off at Lakeview Splash Pad during the week.

July 20-24, 2026: NATURE ART – Day Camp

Art is all around us! Campers will use nature as inspiration as they draw and sketch life in the forest, make earth art, paint natural items, and create natural sculptures out of found materials. Campers will cool off at Lakeview Splash Pad during the week.

July 20-24, 2026: DISCQUEST – Day Camp (with Lunch)

Come and explore disc golf at Albion Hills! Campers will learn from expert disc golf coaches and camp staff to improve their game.

Each camper will receive their own set of discs to keep, and will play and practice on a 9-hole beginner course, and an advanced level 18-hole course.

Fun games, crafts, campfires, outdoor activities, biking, and visits to the Lakeview Splash Pad make DiscQuest a camp to remember.

July 20-24, 2026: TRAILBLAZER ARCHERY- Day Camp (with Lunch)

Come unleash your inner Legolas, Katniss, Robin Hood, or sharpshooting hero of your choosing in this exciting new camp!

Welcoming curious beginners and practicing archers alike, campers will hone their hand-eye coordination, focus, and accuracy through drills and fun challenges.

They will enjoy camp crafts and other outdoor activities, including cooling off at Lakeview Splash Pad during the week.

July 26-31, 2026: ALBION TRAILS – Overnight Camp

Join us for our Albion Trails overnight bike camp! Our goal is to introduce riders to off-road cycling, trail etiquette, and safety considerations that are important when biking in natural areas.

Using a games-based cycling curriculum called Hop-ON, this program will build confidence at cycling through games, activities, and trail riding opportunities to different areas of the park. This camp will be delivered by trained HopOn instructors.

Crafts, campfire, and trips to the splashpad and pool will balance out an active and fun week! All biking equipment (i.e., helmets and fat bikes) will be provided, although riders are more than welcome to bring their own equipment.

Difficulty level: This program is suitable for riders who are comfortable with basic cycling skills and are ready for an introduction to forest trails.

Arrival Sunday, July 5 after 3:00 p.m. and pick up Friday, July 10 by 4:00 p.m.

July 27-31, 2026: OUTDOOR EXPLORERS – Day Camp

Get ready for an adventure into the forest! Campers will explore Albion Hills Conservation Park, learn how to navigate a map, and discover the hidden ponds and secret woods that many animals call home. Exploration and adventure await! Campers will cool off at Lakeview Splash Pad during the week.

Each day of this camp will feature games and crafts of a different time period from the age of the dinosaurs, to the time of kings, queens and knights, to early Canada and into the future. Campers will cool off at Lakeview Splash Pad during the week.

Campers will spend the week learning to supercharge their senses and spy on nature. During the camp they will learn about tracking animals, using binoculars, camouflage, moving silently, and spying into the secret lives of animals. Campers will cool off at Lakeview Splash Pad during the week.

August 24-28, 2026: GNARLY NATURE – Bike Day Camp (with Lunch)

Join us at Albion Hills for this bike day camp! Our goal is to introduce riders to new off-road cycling skills and safety considerations that are important when biking in natural areas with uneven terrain, winding pathways, and downhill riding. This program includes single-track riding activities and a group trail ride that will be delivered by trained HopOn instructors.

Crafts, outdoor activities, and trips to the splashpad and pool will balance out a fun and active week! All biking equipment (i.e., helmets and fat bikes) will be provided, and riders are welcome to bring their own biking equipment.

Difficulty level: This program is suitable for riders who are comfortable on doubletrack forest trails and are ready for new challenges.

August 24-28, 2026: STEAM Day Camp (with Lunch)

Get ready to become a young engineer and architect! In this fun-filled week, you’ll explore the exciting world of building and designing. From building bridges that can hold weight to creating awesome Rube Goldberg machines, you’ll tackle hands-on challenges, test your creations, and learn the secrets behind great engineering. Campers will cool off at Lakeview Splash Pad during the week.

August 31-September 4, 2026: SUMMER SEND-OFF CELEBRATION – Day Camp (with Lunch)

Wrap up the summer and explore what the Albion Hills Field Centre has to offer. Campers will create solar prints, visit a new area of the stream to explore, play games in the forest and make some sun tea. Campers will cool off at Lakeview Splash Pad during the week.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation requests received by Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) more than 30 days before the start of the camp program will receive a 75% refund of the relevant program fees paid. Cancellation requests received by TRCA less than 30 days before the start of the camp program do not qualify for a refund. Rescheduling is subject to availability. There is no refund for camp days missed or children opting not to participate in activities. Cancellation requests must be received in writing by email to vservices@trca.ca. Minimum registration numbers required for camp to operate. In the event TRCA must cancel the camp due to low registration or government order, a full refund will be issued.
