Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA), along with the City of Mississauga and Peel Region, are working closely with community members, residents, and businesses to develop the Malton SNAP project: a holistic approach to creating a more sustainable and resilient community.
About the Malton SNAP Neighbourhood
The Malton SNAP neighbourhood is primarily located within the Mimico Creek watershed and intersects with the Humber River watershed.

The neighbourhood is East of Highway 427, North of Finch Avenue, West of CN Railway Corridor and Torbram Road and Metrolinx Railway Corridor, and South of Derry Road and Cattrick Street.
The Malton SNAP boundary includes all the residential areas within Malton, as well as two adjacent employment areas.
This neighbourhood is home to approximately 36,000 people. There are numerous parks, schools and places of worship, as well as a community centre.
