The Boyd North and Glassco Park complex encompasses almost 700 hectares of land in the City of Vaughan within the Humber River watershed.
Boyd North is owned by Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA), while Glassco Park is owned by the Province of Ontario through the Ontario Heritage Trust and managed by TRCA.
These properties contain many natural and cultural heritage features, as well as several TRCA and partner facilities, including the following:
- Earth Rangers
- Kortright Centre for Conservation
- TRCA’s Restoration Services Office
- TRCA’s Boyd Field Centre Office
- TRCA’s local tree and shrub nursery
- William T. Foster Woods
- Lands under management agreement with the McMichael Canadian Art Collection.

TRCA reminds all nature seekers to be extremely cautious when enjoying time outside this winter, and to stay on designated trails at all times.
Ice is never 100% safe. Please STAY OFF local TRCA rivers, streams, ponds, reservoirs, wetlands and marshes. Conditions are not being monitored and ice may be unsafe.
Venturing out onto the ice is NOT a permitted activity at TRCA parks. Do not put yourself and others at risk.
Please Note:
- Prior to coming to this location, every visitor must do the Ontario Ministry of Health self-assessment for COVID-19. If they do not pass the assessment, they should not visit the location.
- No washrooms on site. (Please plan ahead.)
- Limited or no waste receptacles. (Please carry out litter.)
