Sweet! CTV’s Anwar Knight Previews the Maple Syrup Fest

Warmer days, colder nights: the sweetest time of the year is upon us.

In woodlands throughout the region, the sap from sugar maples is starting to run — and that means we’re closing in on the annual Sugarbush Maple Syrup Festival. The 2017 festival runs from March 4 to April 2 at four GTA locations, including Bruce’s Mill Conservation Area and the Kortright Centre for Conservation.

This morning, CTV Toronto’s Anwar Knight paid a visit to Kortright to learn about the process of making maple syrup pioneered by Canada’s First Nations people centuries ago.
