Conservation Youth Corps Fall Planting & Habitat Creation

Are you a high school student looking to obtain community service hours?

Join us at Claireville Goreway Meadows to engage in some fun conservation projects! Tasks will include planting native decidious shrubs and habitat creation.

This event is part of the Conservation Youth Corps program, and participants are eligible to receive three community service hours by taking part in the full program.

The event will run rain or shine but will be cancelled if there is a greater than 70% chance of thunderstorm or other hazardous weather. Registrants will be emailed by 8:00 a.m. on the morning of the event if there is a cancellation.

• Appropriate clothing: Long pants, closed-toed shoes, tall socks, hat, and sunscreen. Preferably clothing that you will not mind getting dirty.
• Please also bring: Rain protection, bug spray, reusable water bottle, and snacks.
