Wood Canvas Art Lesson at Claireville

Receive individualized attention from our skilled instructor, who will give you hands on guidance on the basics of acrylic painting and tips for wood canvas.

Join us for a unique experience where you will explore the beauty of the trails and leave with a one-of-a-kind artwork inspired by your surroundings.

Beginner-friendly: No prior experience needed and all materials provided. Light refreshment will be available during the painting session.

Event Schedule:

• 1:00 p.m. to 1:10 p.m. – Opening Remarks and Check-In
• 1:10 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. – Guided Nature Walk for Inspiration: Introduction to native plants and animals
• 2:00 p.m. to 3:25 p.m. – Wood Canvas Art Lesson: Botanical Silhouette
• 3:25 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. – Clean-Up and Closing Remarks

Cancellation Policy: Requests received by Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) 14 days before the start of the program will receive a full refund. Cancellation requests received by TRCA 7 days before the start of the program will receive a 50% refund. Cancellation requests received by TRCA less than 7 days before the start of the program do not qualify for a refund. Cancellation requests must be received in writing by email to vservices@trca.ca.
