About Ajax SNAP

This project focuses on the development of a Residential Retrofit Program for single family homes, and a high-level Ajax SNAP Action Plan for neighbourhood revitalization that aligns municipal and partner priorities with community interests and sustainability objectives.
The project will advance objectives of TRCA’s Carruthers Creeks Watershed Plan, the Ajax Climate Risk & Resiliency Plan, Durham Community Climate Adaptation Plan, Durham Community Energy Plan, and Durham Region’s “A2” Priority Health Neighbourhood.
The Ajax SNAP will help demonstrate the implementation of the Durham Greener Homes Program, the Town of Ajax’s Blooming Boulevards pilot program and Naturalization Program, among other municipal and Conservation Authority management plans and strategies, at the neighbourhood scale.
