Bond Lake is part of the Oak Ridges Corridor Conservation Reserve (ORCCR), an important ecological linkage on the Oak Ridges Moraine.
Located in Richmond Hill, the ORCCR property is dominated by mature forests, wetlands, meadows, kettle lakes, and a network of recreational trails. Bond Lake is one of the many kettle lakes in the area.
Visitors are able to use the trails to enjoy the natural beauty of the ORCCR while protecting the integrity of the surrounding ecosystem.
Please Note:
- Public access is not permitted to the Chabad Lubavitch area at the Bond Lake trail head. Please obey signs about these restrictions.
THE FOLLOWING ARE NOT PERMITTED:
- Boating / canoeing
- Fires and BBQs
- Swimming
- Fishing or ice fishing
- Harvesting / foraging
- Motorized vehicles / ATVs
- Picnicking
- Skating*

Community Parking Locations
The Bond Lake Trail Head parking lot is located at 12611 Yonge Street in Richmond Hill. If the lot is full, please visit one of the following parking lots that will connect with trails in the Oak Ridges Corridor Conservation Reserve:
- Bathurst Glen Golf Course – 12481 Bathurst Street
- Bethesda Trail Head – 999 Bethesda Side Road
- Bond Lake Arena and Ozark Park – 70 Old Colony Road
- Grovewood Park – Grovewood Street at Dairy Avenue
- Lake Wilcox Park – 55 Olde Bayview Avenue
- Oak Ridges Community Centre – 12895 Bayview Avenue
- Old Colony Road Trail Head – Old Colony Road between Lebovic Drive and Tiger Lily Street
