Summer 2018 Programs
Amazing Animals! July 9-13
Campers will learn about the different animal groups though hikes, games, and activities. Follow animal tracks, and solve mysteries while investigating a variety of wildlife habitats.
Nature Art: July 16-20
Using nature as inspiration campers will draw and paint outdoors, make earth art using natural materials and create clay sculptures from clay dug out of the pristine Duffins creek.
Outdoor Explorer: July 23-27
Learn how to use a map and compass, go Geo-caching and explore tracks and signs of animals in this camp designed for the explorer at heart. Find your next adventure in the woods, stream and meadows around the Claremont Field Centre.
Wilderness Survival: July 30 – August 3
Could your child survive in the wilderness? Campers will work together to build a shelter, learn how to make a fire, enjoy wild edibles, and see who will be the last camper standing in our all-camp survival game!
Adventure Camp: August 7-10
(Short week: $180/week + $48/week for before and after care)
Explore through the forests, creeks and ponds around the Claremont Field Centre. Campers will find treasure, make forts and learn how to build a fire in this camp designed to celebrate the great outdoors!
Junior Archaeologist: August 13-17
Ready, Set, Dig! Campers will have fun participating in simulated digs and hands-on archaeology based experiments. Campers will get to meet real archaeologists, learn about a nearby archaeological site and examine real artifacts.
Spy Camp: August 20-24
Campers will spend the week learning to supercharge their senses and spy on nature. During the camp they will learn about tracking animals, using binoculars, camouflage, moving silently and spying into the private lives of animals.
Bugology: August 27-31
This one is for the bug lover at heart! Learn about different types of insects, their behaviors, senses and adaptations. Build bug hotels, make friends with worms and chase butterflies that fly by!
Wilderness Survival March Break Camp
Come on an outdoor adventure with us and develop wilderness survival skills through tracking, forging, making shelters, and learning how to build a fire!

$50/day or $225/week. Extended care $15/day or $60 full week. Hot lunch $6/day
