PA DAY CAMPS

 

PA Day Camps at Claireville

Come to Claireville Conservation Area on your PA Day and explore all that nature has to offer!

Campers will have the opportunity build fires, roast marshmallows, explore the forests of Claireville and make memories while they enjoy the benefits of a day spent outdoors!

Claireville’s Outdoor Education Centre also offers an indoor space for lunch breaks, washrooms, and inclement weather!

PA Day Camps at Claremont

Children will be guided through a day of Forest Camp, with a focus on nature-based adventure and building connections with the natural world.

Learn about different habitats and species, play games, and discover what’s going on in the forest at different times of the year!

PA Day Camps at Kortright

Come to Kortright Centre for Conservation on your PA Day and explore the world of The Nature School.

Students will enjoy the benefits of a day spent outdoors where nature becomes the classroom. This child-led approach to learning is exploratory, inquiry based, fun and unhurried.

This PA Day camp also aligns with a unique opportunity to safely explore the total solar eclipse happening on Monday April 8th! Located in Woodbridge, Kortright Centre will provide a stunning view of 99.49% coverage during the eclipse. *Solar viewing glasses that are ISO 12312-2 compliant are included in the camp fee.

PA Day Camps at Lake St. George

Enrol your child in the Lake St. George Field Centre PA Day Camp for a dose of nature-fueled fun!

Campers will learn about what’s happening in the forest, explore the outdoors through guided hikes, play outdoor games, and enjoy a relaxing campfire at the end of the day.

Special events for each day:

  • June 7: Pontoon tour around the lake (weather dependent)
  • June 28: Canoe trip on the lake as a passenger or paddler (weather dependent)

Hot lunch included with every registration.

PA Day Camps at Tommy Thompson Park

Come to Tommy Thompson Park (TTP) on your PA Day and explore Toronto’s Urban Wilderness.

TTP is home to birds, mammals, insects, and more! Campers will discover how the diversity of bird species changes throughout the year, keep an eye open for mammal tracks and scat, and explore the seasonal transitions of plants both big and small.

Camp days will be spent adventuring on guided hikes, playing nature-based games outdoors, and developing our connection with the natural world.

Tommy Thompson Park is located at 1 Leslie Street, Toronto, ON M4M 3M2.

TRCA Cancellation Policy

Summer Camps
Cancellation requests received by Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) more than 30 days before the start of the camp program will receive a 75% refund of the relevant program fees paid. Cancellation requests received by TRCA less than 30 days before the start of the camp program do not qualify for a refund. Rescheduling is subject to availability. There is no refund for camp days missed or children opting not to participate in activities. Cancellation requests must be received in writing by email to vservices@trca.ca. Minimum registration numbers required for camp to operate. In the event TRCA must cancel the camp due to low registration or government order, a full refund will be issued.

PA Day, Winter, and March Break Camps
Cancellation requests received by Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) more than 14 days before the start of the program will receive a 75% refund of the relevant program fees paid. Cancellation requests received by TRCA less than 14 days before the start of the program do not qualify for a refund. Please contact us in cases of sickness prior to the program so we can be in touch about rescheduling or refunding. Rescheduling is subject to availability. There is no refund for program days missed or children opting not to participate in activities. Cancellation requests must be received in writing by email to vservices@trca.ca. Minimum registration numbers required for program to operate. In the event TRCA must cancel the program due to low registration or government order, a full refund will be issued.
