They’re big, they’re destructive, and they might be coming our way!
The invasive fish known as Asian carp pose one of the most serious threats to our Great Lakes. How could they impact the environment, and what can we do?
This virtual workshop will teach participants everything they need to know about Asian carp and how they may affect aquatic ecosystems in the Toronto region.
Participants will learn about the different species of Asian carp and the history of their arrival in North America. We will share tips and tricks on how to identify them, along with useful resources, and advice on how we can all assist in preventing the spread of these invasive species.
