Spring is finally here, and the sap is flowing! And what better way to celebrate the sweetness of winter’s end than a visit to the Sugarbush Maple Syrup Festival, now underway at four GTA locations, including Bruce’s Mill Conservation Area and the Kortright Centre for Conservation.
Beloved Breakfast Television personality Frank Ferragine — a.k.a. Frankie Flowers — recently made the trip to Kortright to check out the festival, and then invited TRCA’s Heather Stafford to the studio to talk about the history and tradition of making maple syrup.
