Learn More About: TRCA’s Service Level Agreements with Infrastructure Partners

Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) has entered into Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for the provision of TRCA-related planning and permitting services with municipalities, agencies and private partners. The SLAs set out the principles, terms, and conditions governing the delivery of these services.

Principles

All SLAs include requirements for coordination meetings, reporting, and dispute resolution. All agreements have been legally endorsed and signed by officers of the respective corporations who have binding authority.

Terms

All SLAs are reviewed by TRCA and its partners on an annual basis and renegotiated according to predetermined timeframes. Terms are specific to each SLA and may differ. Fee requirements are also specified in the SLA. The proponent is responsible for advising their consultants and contractors of the specifics for application purposes.

Conditions

All SLAs set pre-determined review timeframes, or schedules, and fees. Conditions are specific to each SLA and may differ. Proponents are responsible for coordinating specifics with their consultants and contractors.
