TRCA Mystery Winter Wildlife Contest – Rules and Regulations

How to Participate

1. This contest is open to legal residents of Canada (excluding residents of Quebec) who have reached the age of majority in the province in which they reside. You are eligible for this prize by meeting the requirements below:

  • You must be following Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) on Facebook, Instagram, or X (formerly Twitter).
  • You must like TRCA’s Mystery Winter Wildlife contest post on Facebook, Instagram, or X.
  • You must respond to TRCA’s post with a comment that includes the correct answer to the trivia question.

A participant is considered officially entered if all rules and regulations are met.

2. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY: Enter the contest for FREE by commenting on TRCA’s Mystery Winter Wildlife contest social media post by 11:59 p.m. on on February 18, 2024.

Contest Entries

3. There are no limits to the number of entries an individual can submit. TRCA reserves the right to disqualify entries that are deemed fraudulent, or entries do not meet the criteria set out herein.

Prize Availability

4. A total of one (1) prize will be given away.

5. Prize will consist of a TRCA Conservation Parks Family Membership Pass valid for 2024.

6. Total retail value of the prize is $150.25. Prize will be issued virtually.

Prize Distribution

7. Prize winner will be randomly selected after the deadline through a draw that includes all online social posts, and will be announced on February 19, 2024. Once submitted, entries will remain active until the end of the draw. Only one prize will be issued per social media account.

8. The Prize must be accepted within 48 hours of notification by email and redeemed at a mutually agreed time.

Odds of Winning

9. Odds of winning will vary depending on the number of submissions received by TRCA.

General Rules

10. Prize is available to be claimed by selected winners upon notification from TRCA and will be delivered to each selected winner. Selected winner must accept Prize within 48 hours.

11. A prize claimant may be required to show identification to claim a prize. If identification cannot be provided, TRCA reserves the right to retract prize offerings.

12. Prize claimant must be a resident of Canada (excluding residents of Quebec) who have reached the age of majority in the province in which they reside.

13. Employees of TRCA are not eligible to participate in this contest.

14. By participating in this contest, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and all decisions of TRCA which are final.

15. Prizes must be accepted by prize claimant as awarded and not convertible to cash value.

16. Each confirmed winner will be notified by email. By participating in this contest, confirmed winners are deemed to have consented to the disclosure of their personal information to TRCA for the limited use of delivery of Prizes.

17. TRCA is not responsible for lost, late, mutilated, or misdirected Prize claims.

18. TRCA reserves the right to suspend, cancel or modify the draw at any time, if it deems the draw cannot be run as originally planned or for any other occurrence compromising the fairness or integrity of the draw.

19. Prior to being awarded a prize, the chose winner must answer the following skill testing question: What is (155 plus 33) minus (four divided by two)?
