Get a Head Start on the Holidays: November at Black Creek

You can feel it, can’t you? Faint but unmistakable: that first breath of winter’s chill. It’s on the way — and with it, the promise of another happy holiday season, full of good food, gift-giving and great times spent with family and friends.

At Black Creek Pioneer Village in November, we’re all about getting into the festive spirit. Our Family Christmas Weekends, starting November 18, bring Victorian holiday traditions to life: from authentic decorations, dancing and caroling to seasonal treats such as mincemeat pies, flaming puddings and hot apple cider.

We’ve even got the proverbial chestnuts roasting on an open fire. (Jack Frost nipping at your nose optional.)

It’s never too soon to start celebrating the season, so check the Black Creek events calendar for dates and times.

Experience the Village in a whole new way on your next visit. Our Pioneer Vision app combines historic images of the past with the technology of the present to offer an immersive virtual reality tour of Black Creek. Download to your smartphone from Google Play or the App Store.
