It’s spring! The trees are budding, the birds are singing — and over at Black Creek Pioneer Village, our favourite team of Canadian history buffs is gearing up for another season of fun and frolic, 1860s-style.
This promises to be a special year, as Canada’s living history museum pulls out all the stops for the 150th anniversary of Confederation. The festivities get off to a rousing start in May and June, with three of the Village’s most popular annual events: Pirates and Princesses (May 20 to 23), Doors Open Toronto (May 27 and 28) and The Battle of Black Creek (June 17 and 18).
