Youth Week Tree Planting at Tasca Park

Get outside and celebrate spring! Help pick-up litter and plant trees and shrubs in the Tasca Park trail system. This event is part of King Youth Week, and high school students can receive volunteer hours for participation (must bring tracking sheet for sign-off).

Age Range: Family friendly. Students can receive volunteer hours for participation (must bring tracking sheet for sign-off). Registration is required for youth ages 14-17 participating without parent/guardian supervision (registration below). Youth ages 13 and under must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

What to wear: Long pants, closed-toed shoes and sun/rain protection. This event will take place rain or shine. Please bring a reusable water bottle.

Parking: Street parking is available along Goodfellow Crescent or in the plaza off of Hwy 27, just west of the planting area. Washrooms are available nearby at Tasca Park (49 Parkheights Trail, Nobleton).

Meeting place: Park entrance off of 130 Goodfellow Crescent.
