Join TRCA educators and The Meadoway ambassadors on a winter exploration of The Meadoway, one of the most exciting greenspace revitalization projects in Canada!
Every year, birds travel thousands of kilometers on a perilous journey to warmer climates to avoid the winter cold. But a number of them stay behind and brave the winter. On this winter birding walk, learn about the birds that call The Meadoway home and how they survive the winter chill.
Discover why The Meadoway matters, and how it will enhance the landscape for people, plants, and animals.
Warm drinks will be served at the start of the event. Participants are asked to bring their own reusable mug or thermos to reduce waste. We’ll also warm up after the walk at a roaring fire, complete with roasted marshmallows!
More details will be shared with registrants closer to the date of the event.
