Combining Halloween spirit with environmental stewardship, this event will explore the scary reality of plastic waste.

Halloween costumes for kids are often made from plastic materials and are frequently outgrown or discarded after a single use. This not only leads to unnecessary plastic waste but also impacts our aquatic ecosystems.

This event is your chance to participate in a fun costume exchange! Bring the pre-loved children’s Halloween costumes that are haunting your closets and swap them for something new-to-you.

By reusing costumes, you’ll help reduce plastic waste and keep Halloween costumes out of the landfill. You will also help to lessen the demand for new plastic-containing costumes and find unique, cost-effective costumes to make this a spine-chilling and sustainable Halloween.

Pre-registration is not required.

Halloween costumes will only include children’s costumes. Costumes brought to the exchange must be recently cleaned and in usable condition.
