Tree Planting Event – Brampton

Join Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) and One Tree Planted for a fun day of volunteering to celebrate Earth Month!

Volunteers will help plant native trees and shrubs with community members at a priority restoration site within TRCA’s jurisdiction. Participants will help TRCA plant and mulch native trees and shrubs at a select priority restoration site.

Please remember to:

Wear

• Sturdy closed-toe shoes or boots with good traction
• Long pants and long-sleeved shirts to protect your skin from scratches and insect bites
• Layers of clothing appropriate for the weather conditions
• A hat or cap to protect your head and face from the sun

Bring

• A reusable water bottle to stay hydrated
• Sunscreen and bug spray
• Snacks if you’re a snack-y person
• A positive attitude
