Get outside for a fall tree planting! Help pick-up litter, remove invasive plants and learn how to monitor newly planted trees and shrubs.

  • Age Range: Family friendly. Students can receive volunteer hours for participation (must bring tracking sheet for sign-off).
  • What to wear/bring: Long pants, closed-toed shoes, sun/rain protection and a refillable water bottle. This event will take place rain or shine.
  • Public transit: 1 minute walk from York Region Transit Bus Stop Yonge/King, #9794 (northbound) and #9795 (southbound).
  • Parking: Available in the Connor Building parking lot at 39 King Road (map). To get to the planting site, cross to the east side of Yonge Street, following directional event signage.
