Join a live webinar on Thursday April 13 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for the Toronto Island Park Flood and Erosion Mitigation Project. The event will include a live presentation from the project team followed by a Q&A session.
Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) will also host a virtual Public Open House from April 5 to 21, 2023. The open house will include a self-guided review of project material and an opportunity to provide feedback. Check back on April 5 for the open house link.
TRCA, in partnership with the City of Toronto, is completing a flood and erosion control study at Toronto Island Park. The goal of the project is to develop long-term flood and erosion control measures to protect the park from shoreline flooding.
To complete this study, TRCA has initiated a Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) which gives the public an opportunity to participate and provide feedback. Your input will be incorporated into the planning and design process.
