Get outside and volunteer with TRCA! Let’s welcome fall together by planting native trees and shrubs at Sherway Trail! Students in attendance can receive volunteer hours for participation. Volunteer letters will be emailed following the event.

Location: Sherway Trail, Toronto. Located near Sherway Drive. Due to nearby construction, registered participants will be contacted with details on how to access the site.

Registration is required for this event, and walk-ins will not be accepted. Registration includes sharing your contact information for contact tracing purposes, signing a waiver and completing a self-assessment for COVID-19. Each individual must fill out a waiver separately (including those under the age of 18).

  • Please arrive on time and prepared for outdoor work.
  • Wear closed-toed shoes, face mask, hat and sunscreen.
  • Bring rain protection, sun protection, reusable water bottle and snacks. Gardening gloves and equipment will be available, though you are welcome to bring your own to reduce equipment sharing.
  • Please note that washrooms are NOT available on site.

Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) is committed to creating an accessible experience for all participants. If you require an accommodation, please email tisha.tan@trca.ca at least 7 days prior to the event.
