The City of Toronto is hosting the 10th annual Spring Bird Festival at Colonel Samuel Smith Park as part of Toronto Bird Celebration Week! The Festival is an opportunity to learn more about Toronto’s diverse population of birds during their peak spring migration. The fun, family-oriented day offers hourly guided bird tours, live bird and reptile exhibits, face painting and crafts, and a variety of educational displays.

The Toronto Bird Celebration Week runs from May 11 – 25 with more than 30 free events happening around the city! Find out more by visiting torontobirdcelebration.ca.

Register for a free native tree or shrub at the Long Branch Neighbourhood Association’s Tree for Me event by signing up at www.lbna.ca/tree/. Choose from a variety of bird-friendly plants and pick it up at the main entrance of the Festival between 10 am to 1:45 pm.

This Festival is run by the City of Toronto, in collaboration with Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, Concerned Citizens About the Future of the Etobicoke Waterfront, Friends of Samuel Smith Park, and Birds and Beans.
