This five-hour silent retreat will give you the opportunity to experience mindfulness-in-nature practices that allow you to rest your mind, connect with yourself and your body, and deepen your relationship to nature.

The retreat will consist of guided meditation and nature connection practices, indoors and outdoors, with the majority of the day spent outdoors. Dressing in layers, appropriate to the weather, and wearing comfortable clothes that allow for movement is important.

The day will begin with an arriving practice, sharing guidelines for the day, and then proceed through guided sitting and moving meditation practices, including a combination of any of the following: mindful yoga, sitting meditation, walking meditation, eating meditation, forest therapy, and practices to cultivate compassion, gratitude and joy.

The day will conclude with tea and treats, and a circle sharing about our experience from the day.

Many people find a day of silent practice in nature to be a restorative and inspiring experience that leaves them feeling profoundly connected to themselves, to others and to nature.

WHO IS THIS SUITABLE FOR?

This retreat is suitable for anyone who would like to experience mindfulness practices or a silent retreat, and bring positive change and transformation into their lives.
