Join us in Rouge National Urban Park to count and celebrate the amazing diversity of life found across Canada! The last bioblitz in the Rouge happened in 2013, where we surveyed more than 1750 species. This year, with BioBlitz Canada we’re back in the park and hoping to challenge that count. We’ll also be doing the first intensive survey of the 17 square kilometres of land that are being added as a part of the Rouge National Urban Park Act.
Registration is open for scientists and skilled naturalists, as well as our Guided Bioblitz program for those looking to learn more species identification skills. You can also join us at our Base Camp Festival for fun and engaging family activities and entertainment on Saturday, June 24 from 11am – 4pm! See details.
