Parking for Rastafest is available only at the Black Creek Pioneer Village parking lot at 1000 Murrary Ross Parkway ($7/vehicle). There is no parking on the festival grounds.

The Empress Walk

Kick off the festival by joining The Empress Walk to raise community awareness on better heart health for women. The Empress Walk begins at the Black Creek Pioneer Village Parking Lot at 8:30 a.m. with a stop at Black Creek Community Farm and ends at the festival grounds for a continuation of celebration of health and wellness and Rastafarian culture and music. Pre-registration is required.

About Rastafest

Rastafest is Canada’s largest celebration of Rastafarian heritage and culture. The festival is a multi-disciplined, family fun event highlighting different aspects of the Rastafari culture. The festival draws from the rich and diverse Rastafarian lifestyle, culture, and history.  Black Creek Pioneer Village is pleased to partner with Rastafest Inc to bring Rastafest back to the Jane & Finch community.

Getting to Rastafest

This event takes place on Black Creek Pioneer Village’s North Property located at 7060 Jane St, just north of Steeles Ave. There is no access to the event through the museum grounds.

The best way to get to Rastafest is by TTC. The festival is only a short 8-minute walk from Highway 407 Subway Station or a 3-minute walk from the Jane and Steeles bus stop (Routes 35A, 35B or 935).

Parking is available just around the corner at the Black Creek Pioneer Village parking lot located at 1000 Murray Ross Parkway, one block east of Jane St.
