We’ll begin with a short winter’s walk, taking in the scenery and gaining inspiration from our natural surroundings. Picking up our brushes, we then turn our inspiration into art! Meet artist, Kerry O’Meara, who will lead you through painting a piece that mingles with the spirit of Tommy Thompson Park, a.k.a. The Leslie Street Spit. Kerry will guide you through the painting step-by-step – and in the end you’ll leave with your own work of art to hang on your wall.
Painting will take place in the Staff Booth building – a 10 minute walk into the park from the park entrance.
All supplies will be provided. Just bring yourself, warm clothing for the walk, and a reusable mug, if you have one, for a warm refreshment (included in registration fee).
