This family-friendly program provides an opportunity to learn not only how to fish, but how to do so responsibly and sustainably. Try your hand at rigging and casting a fishing rod, learn how to identify local fish, and see a demonstration of the next step: how to clean and cook the catch of the day!
The session includes dry-land training and hands-on fishing. Equipment, including rod, reel, bait and safety gear, will be provided. Recommended for ages 6 years and older. Adult accompaniment is required.
A fishing license required for those between the ages of 18 and 64 if wishing to cast. Learn more about licenses and where to get one here.
