Toronto and Region Conservation Authority is collaborating with Credit Valley Conservation to bring to you Landscaping for Birds. Due to COVID-19, we are now delivering this workshop as a webinar.

Add beauty and colour to your yard and increase birdsong on your street.

Birds bring colour, music and joy to any yard. Join CVC’s Melissa Creasey to discover the most common and most unique birds in your neighbourhood. Learn how to attract them to your yard as well as what to do to keep them safe. Discover the top native trees and shrubs you can plant to bring more birds to your property.

Participants located anywhere in the Peel region or Credit River Watershed are eligible to receive a free tree or shrub for their property.

About Melissa Creasey

Melissa has her BSc and MSc in Environmental Science with a focus in songbird conservation. As the coordinator for urban landowner outreach at CVC, Melissa develops resources and delivers presentation related to landscaping for birds and pollinators and spends the warmer months of the year planting and maintaining native plants.

This event is supported by Creative Hub 1352.
