As dusk descends on the waters of Lake St. George, experience evocative, contemporary tribal sounds performed on the lake! Enjoy this mystical floating concert from a spot at the water’s edge, or in a canoe.

Highlights:

  • Enjoy storytelling, dance and music outdoors at dusk.
  • Experience a floating concert by canoe or from the lawn performed by DATU, a modern Filipino music crew remixing cultural traditions.
  • Explore Lantern Exhibit by Artist-in-Residence Joanne Rich and make your own paper sun catchers.
  • Taste local flavours from seasonal food vendors Great Canadian Food Truck and Mister Treats.
  • Take a shuttle service to and from the event.

DATE

  • Saturday September 14, 2019 (Event will run rain or shine. Please dress for outdoor weather.)

TIME

  • Concert: 5:00 to 7:30 p.m.
  • Paddle & Concert: 4:00 to 7:30 p.m.

TICKET PRICES

  • General Admission (Lawn Seating): $20 + HST (Adult) or $10 + HST (Youth 17 or under) – (Blankets and lawn chairs welcome)
  • Paddling and Admission: $40 + HST (Limited tickets available. Beginner and seasoned paddlers welcome.)  SOLD OUT!

PARKING AND SHUTTLE

  • Location: Swan Lake Outdoor Education Centre (1229 Bethesda Side Road, Richmond Hill, ON, L4E 1A2)
  • Departure: Paddling 4 p.m. | General Admission 5 p.m.
  • Return: 7:30 p.m.

PADDLE INFORMATION

  • All equipment and personal flotation devices provided. Children must be age 6 and up; those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
