Come join the Friends of Humber Bay Park and local residents as we enjoy summer days in the city. You will help get rid of plastic bags, bottles, cans and other litter. Working together we can make a huge impact and reduce the amount of litter entering Lake Ontario.
- Garbage bags will be supplied.
- Event runs rain or shine, so please come dressed for weather forecast.
- Participants are encouraged to bring their own gloves, if possible. Closed-toe shoes required.
Participants over the age of 18+ will participate in a cigarette butt blitz, one of the most littered items world wide.
Cancellation policy: The event will run rain or shine, but may be cancelled if there is a greater then 70% chance of thunderstorms or other hazardous weather. Registrants will be emailed by 9:00 a.m. on the morning of the event if there is a cancellation.
