Fall in Love with The Meadoway this autumn! Celebrate and learn about the science behind fall colors and contribute to meadow restoration!
We will start by going on a guided nature walk to enjoy the fall landscape and learn the science behind the changing colours.
We’ll also learn about The Meadoway project and discover the importance of meadow habitats. Then, we’ll contribute to the restoration of the meadow by planting native plants!
This event is intended for Ages 6+:
- Beginner-level information
- Activities and concepts that are friendly for all ages
- Intended audience includes children, youth, and adults
The event will run rain or shine but will be canceled if there is a greater than 70% chance of thunderstorm or other hazardous weather. Registrants will be emailed by 10:00 a.m. on the day of the event if there is a cancellation.
